Luke 16:19-31.
A rich man died and went to the hell, looked up and saw Lazarus, who was a begger in front of this rich man's house and suffered with sores when he was alive, with Abraham. The rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus to give him a drop of water. Abraham said there was a great gulf no one could cross between the rich man and them, then the rich man asked Abraham to raise Lazarus from the dead to warn his brothers. Abraham did not agree to it. This is such a scary parable. Some description of hell is very scary too, and that's eternal. |
