Near Jericho, a blind man whose name was Bartimaeus was sitting by the road and begging. As soon as he knew Jesus was walking by, he started shout "Have mercy on me!". Some one tried to stop him, then he shouted louder "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Jesus stopped, and healed him, then said "Your faith saved you". He could see instantly and followed Jesus.
He was not only healed his eyes but also he was saved.
